We the members of Church at 2021, take very seriously the responsibility before God to teach children His word. Every teacher believes they are obeying the call of God to serve in Children's Church. We hold them up in prayer, and also the children they minister to. Jesus clearly tells us what we must do. "Let the children come to Me, and forbid them not." We are glad to be a blessing to you and your family with an anointed children's ministry.
“Buck Denver Asks…What’s in the Bible? is a DVD series from VeggieTales® creator
Phil Vischer designed to walk kids and families through the entire Bible.”
The Lighthouse Kids Staff loves teaching from this curriculum. They learn something new each week and are confident your children will too! During class they do hands-on activities, games, crafts, lessons, videos and skits. They also learn how to use the Bible in every aspect!
The Lighthouse Kids class is lead by long time members Ryan and Stephanie Nash. They are also on the Praise & Worship Team. Ryan and Stephanie have a passion for introducing Christ to children. They know how important it is to prepare the Lord's Army while providing a safe place to call home in this world. They have two children and decades of experience working with children. Stephanie has a social work degree with a heart for special needs children. Ryan's rough exterior is only hiding the kind, generous man beneath! His desire to teach about Jesus shines bright each Sunday. Come join them as they "become lighthouses discovering the way to Jesus Christ."
Rhonda Barnard is the nursery coordinator. She is married to the youth teacher, Scott Barnard. They have three children and have been members since 1999. Rhonda's nickname in the children's church building is "the baby whisperer." Her devotion to children shows in a very big way. Children from infant to 3 years old enjoy their time with her, whether it is in our newly renovated toddler room, or for quiet time in our brand new sensory/nursing room! Parents, your babies and toddlers are safe with her!
